Hello dear Internet denizens. 👋🏻 I created this blog mostly as a place to publish thoughts (as many do), but in the modern era it's increasingly unlikely anyone reads something not published on a Platform. For this reason, and for the reason that words flow more freely when I'm not writing for others, I am excluding you from being my target audience. Instead, the target audience is just me.

I don't think I will write about my personal or professional lives. I'd prefer to write about various hobby projects I am interested in, such as improving Dusk OS and Collapse OS, and various quality of life improvements to my self-hosted computer systems.

Mad props to nobloat

I've had so many false starts with my blogging so I'm very thankful for Peter Spiess-Knafl's creation of a simple blog system that just works and is future proof. I have now learned that the more complex a system, the more frequent the maintenance that is required just to keep it running. So, goodbye Octopress, Cobalt, Zola, etc. etc.
